This is a lovely piece of mental/close up magic.

Five different coloured brass disc's are shown, they are all turned face down and mixed. Your spectator is asked to look at one and remember the colour. The disc's are mixed again and placed into a little brass canister. The lid is now placed on top & a piece of string is treaded through the canister and the disc's.

You now ask your spectator to hold onto both ends of the string and mane his selected colour aloud. The canister is opened and the chosen coloured disc falls to the table (all the others are still threaded onto the string)
